For over fifty years, Bolsa Chica Mobile Estates has served as a safe and desirable mobile-home community. In 1995, Bolsa Chica became a resident-owned nonprofit corporation of seniors, 55 years of age and older committed to promote the health, safety, and welfare of all residents. Our 65 residential spaces are located on eleven acres bordered by Arroyo Grande Creek and are just under a mile east of the quaint Village of Arroyo Grande.

We enjoy the use of our conveniently located multi-use Clubhouse, and in summer months, residents swim laps or simply enjoy a dip in our heated pool. A community park is an attraction for both residents and our four-legged companions. A butterfly garden across from the park is the latest addition to Bolsa Chica.

As owners of Bolsa Chica, we are a community dedicated to maintaining a safe, friendly environment, where we can be free to enjoy life based on trust, integrity, and mutual respect. We realize that we live in a truly special place here on the Central Coast, and we take pride in the beauty, tranquility, and the appeal of our neighborhood.

Bolsa Chica is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors. We are governed by our Rules and Regulations, and Bylaws based on State and Federal laws for resident-owned mobile home parks such as ours. Many residents are active members of committees such as the Women’s Club and Men’s Club, Finance Committee, Beautification Committee, and Emergency Preparedness Committee.

We hope this website will provide a resource for residents to keep up with news about Bolsa Chica, review documents such as our Rules and Regulations, Bylaws, and Emergency Preparedness and Evacuation Plan. We hope to also include articles of interest such as gardening ideas and stories by and about our residents.
